STEP 4

Add the next three colors carefully. Overlap the lighter colors softly so they are not covered up by the darker colors.

STEP 5

The long thin red clouds just above the horizon should be sketched softly with a long thin chalk edge.  Hold the chalk so that just the long edge touches the paper parallel to the horizon line.  Sharpen the edge on each stroke by rolling it slightly between the fingers.
